Your Questions, Answered

Yes. Before I begin painting, we’ll develop the concept together and you’ll receive a digital sketch and mockup for approval. This is the stage where we can refine the composition, proportions and color direction until we’re both happy with the concept.

Every commission is different, and timing depends on the size and complexity of the artwork as well as my current studio schedule. We’ll discuss the expected timeframe before you commit, so you’ll know what to expect from the beginning.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your commission and begin the creative process. The remaining 50% is due once the artwork is completed and before delivery or shipping. All details will be clearly outlined in your commission agreement before work begins.

You don’t need to.

You don’t need to know art terminology or arrive knowing exactly what you want. I’ll guide you through the process, from choosing the right scale and color direction to developing an artwork that feels naturally at home in your space.

All you really need to know is what speaks to you. We’ll discover the rest together.

You don’t need to know that before contacting me. Using photographs and measurements of your wall, I can help determine the proportions that will work best and create a digital mockup so you can visualize the artwork in your space before we begin.

That’s completely fine, and actually very common. You may simply know how you’d like the room to feel, love a particular artwork of mine, or have a few colors you’re drawn to. That’s enough to start. Part of my role is helping you turn those initial thoughts into a clear creative direction.

Yes. The concept stage is exactly the time for changes. We can refine the composition, colors and other key elements before you approve the final design. Once the concept has been approved and painting begins, changes are much more limited, as the creative process has moved into the original artwork itself.

Commission pricing is based primarily on the size and complexity of the artwork, and the materials required. Once I understand what you’d like to create, I’ll provide a clear quotation before we begin.

Yes. I can arrange professional packaging and shipping for artworks worldwide. Shipping details and costs will be discussed with you in advance, depending on the size of the artwork and its destination.

A commissioned artwork is created specifically for you and your space. Rather than finding a piece and trying to make it fit, we can consider the proportions, colors, atmosphere and character of your interior from the very beginning.

But there’s also something more personal about it: you’re part of the creation of a piece that exists nowhere else. A work of art with its own story and a connection to yours.
